Conditions
Temporary & Freelance Employees Terms and Conditions of Employment
i) It is understood and agreed that Jonathan Beth Consultant's and or
JBCStyle, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "JBC") temporary employees
assigned to JBC client companies are selected under criteria and a selection
process specific to the Clients needs but at all times will adhere to
the highest level of standards and professionalism. It is the policy of
JBC to ensure equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons
without regard to race, gender, religion, age, national origin, citizenship
status, disability, qualified veteran status, marital status, or sexual
orientation. While JBC does have involvement in the Client hiring process
on both temporary, freelance, contract and or permanent, JBC does not
have discretion in the Client hiring process of temporary, freelance,
contract and or permanent workers and JBC is not involved in the selection
process other than the search process, reference and background screening
(if requested). As a temporary, freelance and or contract employee "temporary")
of JBC, you represent and agree that you, as a temporary employee assigned
to a JBC Client company and selected based upon that Clients internal
criteria agree to indemnify and hold harmless JBC from and against any
and all liabilities, fines, damages, fees and expenses arising out of
the Client's failure to comply with applicable employment law or any unlawful
action taken by such said Client or its invitees against you. You understand
and agree that you were selected as a temporary employee by JBC's Client
Company and without connection to Jonathan Beth Consultants, Inc., and
or JBCStyle, Inc. its officers, directors, employees and the like. In
the event that the Client Company you were assigned to determines it to
be in their best interests to terminate its relationship with you, you
further agree to indemnify and hold harmless JBC from and against any
and all liabilities, fines, damages, fees and expenses arising out of
this decision. JBC temporary employees are absolutely prohibited on assignment
from: 1) operating any motorized vehicle; 2) operating any machinery (other
than standard clerical office equipment); 3) lifting or otherwise moving
any heavy objects; and 4) handling any securities, cash or other valuables
without the prior written consent of JBC.
